Taxi Transfers To and From Tokyo Airport

At Haneda Airport Terminals 1 and 2 the taxi ranks are located on 1F, the Arrivals Lobby level.

Some taxi ranks only allow reserved taxis to wait there, for example taxi stands No 0 and No 19 are for reserved taxis only at T1, while Nos 12 and 17 are for taxis heading to Kawasaki, Yokohama, Yokosuka and Miura only. General taxis wait at stands 13 and 18.

At T2 taxi ranks No 1 and 19 are for reserved taxis only, while Nos 2 and 18 are for taxis to Kawasaki, Yokohama, Yokosuka and Miura. General taxi services are dealt with at ranks Nos 3 and 17.

At the international T3 taxi stands are located in the curbside area on Level 1. The drop-off area allows passengers easy access to Level 3, Departures. Arrivals are handled on Level 2, where it's best to meet arriving passengers at the Information Stands (Tel +81 3 6428 0888, 24-hour line).

The Tokyo Hire-Taxi Association (www.taxi-tokyo.or.jp - (English page)) is the official operator at HND. In the Arrivals Lobby of both terminals there are also lists of flat rate taxis that offer transfer from Haneda Airport to city locations. There are 23 wards in Tokyo, but there are also Musasino City and Mitaka City taxis waiting at Haneda Airport.

The first 1.052 km traveled cost Yen 410. You can find out the fare with the above website's fare calculator. There is one rate for the day (5.00 am to 10.00 pm) and one for the night.

Travelling from Haneda Airport to Tokyo Station for example costs Yen 6,500 during the day (36 minutes for 18.63 km distance, about USD 58.96 or EUR 54.17) and Yen 7,780 (ca. USD 70.57 or EUR 64.84) for night trips to/from Tokyo Station.

If you're travelling by monorail from HND to Tokyo Station and want to carry on by taxi from there: a trip to Tokyo Tower costs Yen 1,450 for a 4.1 km distance.

A trip to Yokohama (53 minutes for 21.6km) costs Yen 7,380 during the day, the night fare is Yen 8,820. From Haneda Airport to Musashino City a taxi costs Yen 10,710 during the day (1 hour 13 minutes, 31.41 km) and Yen 12,580 at night.

Going to Mitaka City takes 1 hour 2 minutes (30.58 km) and costs Yen 10,420 during the day, with a night fare of Yen 12,290.

Asuka is another popular destination: the day fare is Yen 8,260, the night service costs Yen 9,770. The trip takes 51 minutes on average for 23.69 km.
