Cruises & Water Taxis at Haneda Tokyo Airport Wharf
Cruises, both charter and scheduled, depart from Haneda Tokyo Airport Wharf several times a day for Yokohama Bay and various locations in Tokyo Bay. Boats travel to Odaiba and Yokohama Seaside Park and there are themed cruises that leave at night so passengers can enjoy the spectacular sights of Yokohama Port, where vast cranes are lit up and giant warehouses line the shores.
KMC Corporation runs water taxis between HND's Wharf and Odaiba Seaside Park and the airport and Yokohama Minatomirai Purak Osanbashi Pier. There are also limousine boats and water taxis to Tokyo wards and locations like Shibaura, Nihonbashi, Toyosu and Asakusa.
Fares to Odaiba Seaside Park and Yokohama cost Yen 2,500 one way per adult, Yen 1,250 for children aged 3 to 11 (under twos go free). Tickets can be purchased on board the boats. The Haneda Airport Wharf opens for passengers 30 minutes prior to boat departure. It takes 10 minutes by shuttle bus to transfer from Terminal 3. Buses linking to boat departures leave at 12.55 and 16.20, and depart from the Wharf at 12.10 and 16.35. Access to the Haneda Airport Wharf is from Terminal 3's First Floor bus stop.
The Odaiba boat leaves at 13.15, arriving at Odaiba Seaside Park at 14.45, leaving again at 14.55 to arrive back at Haneda Airport Wharf at 16.25, a 90-minute voyage.
The Yokohama boat leaves Haneda Airport Wharf at 16.45, arriving at Yokohama Port at 18.15. Outbound trips from Yokohama leave at 10.30, arriving back at Haneda Airport Wharf at 12.00, a 90-minute trip.
If you prefer a themed cruise or something where you can drink a cup of tea or coffee onboard, there are Factory Night View cruises and Cafe Cruises offered by www.reservedcruise.com. Their pleasure boats go to Yokohama Port at night, starting at 17.00 and 17.30 in winter and about 30 minutes later in March/April, and starting from 19.00 in June and July. In Yokohama they leave from Yokohama Bay Pier Zou-no-hana. Tickets: Yen 4,900 for adults, Yen 2,450 for children aged 3 to 11.
