Reservations should be made in advance to avoid disappointment upon arrival – at peak times such as Golden Week (28th April to 5th May) there is very high demand.This will be the same for all car rental companies at Haneda Airport.

To rent a car from Europcar you must be at least 18 years old. A young driver's fee applies that is added every day to your rental and you are restricted to rent from certain car groups, when you're aged 18 to 24. Some cars can only be rented by drivers aged over 25.

All Europcar Haneda Airport vehicle rentals come with unlimited mileage, giving you scope to explore Greater Tokyo and beyond without worry. The rate also includes basic protection (collision damage waiver and theft protection with excess) and Value Added Tax, as well as all airport fees and other local taxes. Additional drivers are included in the basic rate.

It is a requirement by law that all children below the age of 6 must use a child safety seat. Europcar can offer infant, toddler and child safety seats for less than EUR10.00 a day.

You can add more insurance by choosing the Super Collision Damage Waiver package, also costing less than EUR10.00 a day, but this insurance eliminates excess.

To Musashino City, which is 31 km away, it takes 1 hour 13 minutes by car, and driving to Asakusa takes 51 minutes for a 24 km trip.
